Medical Castings

For over fifty years, Marlborough Foundry has produced aluminum casting for the medical industry, from parts as small as the knuckles on the dentist chair light to large CAT scan tables, and everything in between

We regularly employ a variety of different casting methods from Green Sand, No Bake and Permanent Mold (depending largely on production and casting size).  Your parts are cast, cleaned, de-burred, and heat-treated (if required). They are then given an aluminum oxide blast that leaves them with a clean, uniform surface that is ready for finish and machining.

Some medical equipment requires testing and evaluation before the final production begins. For more information, please visit our Rapid Prototype Category listed under APPLICATIONS.

Our tooling is cut quickly and accurately thanks to the customer’s CAD files along with our extremely productive and consistent association with a number of highly qualified pattern shops that utilize state-of-the-art 3-axis routers.

What’s more, we welcome customer involvement in the process and are entirely prepared to work with you as you follow along through all aspects of the job. Or, utilize our five decades of experience and let us completely take over the project from casting through machining and coating, and we’ll deliver your part ready to bolt on.
