Military and Firearm Castings

For over fifty years Marlborough Foundry has been supplying casting solutions to some of the most sensitive projects, including numerous castings for a wide range of military applications.  Although the majority of our customers are Prime Defense Contractors, we do work directly for certain branches of the United States Department of Defense.

Naturally, we insist on utilizing the highest quality materials and ensure that our metal is 100% traceable to National Standards. Most recently, we produced cast molds for personal armor, electronic housings for guidance systems, and transducer heads for sonar and radar equipment.  Additionally, we have created castings for microwave back plates and portable fuel cell chambers along with telecommunication heat sinks and cold plates for positioning systems.

The firearms market is another field of industry we regularly serve. Although these products are not always used for military applications, we feel they require the same attention to detail during their manufacture.  We are currently producing side plates, folding stocks, and stock butt plates for some of the most popular models available.
